Alexander Buster's baby- brother!     Barked: Thu Oct 21, '10 4:51am PST  Alexander is a GREAT dog, but recently he's been doing something that has my husband at his wits end. Alexander sleeps on the bed with us. At times during the night he'll get off the bed, lay on the floor, go into the bathroom or the living room. When my husband gets up, Alexander jumps back in bed and goes back to sleep. What's been happening the last couple of weeks now is. . . . .when my husband approaches the bed to wake me or make sure I'm awake, Alexander jumps up, jumps on ME, and barks at my husband. It's not a mean bark - it's more of a high pitched warning bark. But, he ALWAYS jumps on top of me --- as if he's protecting me -- and then barks at my husband. As I said, my husband is ticked off about this, and I'm not sure why he'd all of a sudden start doing this. Any advice? Suggestions? Should we let the puppy dogs out number the humans? Wondering if it'll be too much, or if 1 more really is that much different? Alexander is almost 2, the Basset is 3. Alexander Buster's baby- brother!     Barked: Wed Apr 14, '10 10:04am PST  When Alexander was a puppy - 3-5 month, he grunted. His nickname was "Grunt-Grunt." It was the CUTEST sound.
