Dog Health > Low Impact Activities?

So here's the story. I have a six year old yellow lab who is a ball of energy.
I moved about a year ago from a home with a huge yard to a home with zero yard which I has been a rough transition for the both of us. At the other house I was always playing with her in the back yard and she was pretty active. Since the move I have gotten busier and with the no yard situation it isn't as convenient to give her the exercise that she needs. Due to the inactivity she is a bit overweight which has led to minor hip dysplasia that makes it hard for her to be active for long periods of time.
Soooo after all of that here is my question. What are some things that I can do with her that are low impact but will help expend some of the energy she has?
I've been pushing this issue to the side for too long and I really need to get back to giving her the attention she needs. So any advice would be much appreciated.

In all I've owned 3 labs and mutt.

I would love to have:
Doberman Pinscher (working group)
English Springer Spaniel (sporting group)
Australian Shepherd (herding group)

I don't like small dogs as much...I'm a sucker for BIG babies.
