Labrador Retriever > The wonder of a Yellow Lab

Barked: Fri Mar 6, '09 1:21am PST
Moose, your story cracked Mom up but she also knows how hard it is to have an untrained labradork! shockshockshockshockshock

You REALLY need professional training!!!!!!!!way to goway to goway to goway to goway to go

But first, have your Mom consider a pronged collar, no pull harness or a halti collar for you so she can at least get to the training classes without loosing control of you. Labs are very strong and if we're not obedient, be can be a real pain in the rump to those humans around us. Most of the labs that are surrendered to shelters and rescues is due to not being trained and the previous owners are at their wits end and don't want to deal with the dog anymore.

Good luck and I hope you and your Mom get some training help ASAP!!!!! hughughughughug

Labrador Retriever > Labs at play

Barked: Fri Mar 6, '09 1:16am PST
I just turned 7, I have a black labradorable sissy who just turned 3 and a mellow yellow labradork bro who's 5. We play REALLY rough when we get going but never seem to hurt each other. It all sounds like normal young labradorks at play. snoopysnoopysnoopysnoopysnoopy

Labrador Retriever > Industructable toys

Barked: Thu Mar 5, '09 4:25pm PST
Hard Knuckle Nylabones are grrreat for keeping my busy. I WOOF my kong solid rubber ball and this HUGE hard plastic ball that looks like a kettle ball. Also, there's a toy made out of recycled rubber from cow milking machines. Sounds crazy but they last a long time too.

If you order it and mention Mid-Florida Retriever Rescue, Inc. They will donate a little bit of the money they make from your order to the rescue myself and my two labradork brother's came from which is grrreat!

Labrador Retriever > Mismarked Labs...

Barked: Thu Mar 5, '09 4:06pm PST
One of the puppies that came into Mid-Florida Retriever Rescue, Inc. (we volunteer for them) had a mismarked chocolate boy come in. Supposedly he was purebred lab but the breeder didn't want him since he was a brindle of chocolate and yellow. Very cute! Adopted at the first event he went to which is great!cheer

Labrador Retriever > For All The Lab Lovers...

The rescue that our Mom volunteers for ordered some grrreat ladies boutique t shirts that have LABRADORED embroidered on them.

They come in red, blue, black, yellow, green and pink. They are prewashed/preshrunk and very cute!

The sizes run true to size. Mom wears a small and it fit perfectly.

I'm selling them to my friends for $12 each plus shipping which can't be more than a few dollars. At the events we're charging $17 b/c that's what they are in the boutique stores.

Let me know if you want one, what color and what size. I would need you to mail a check or money order before we can send it b/c we've been burned so many times from dogsters with sending stuff and not receiving payment which ruins it for everybody! frown Mom paid for them b/c the rescue didn't have the funds so the check will be made out to our Mom instead of the rescue (Mom needs to pay the discover bill off, bol).

Let me know if you're interested. I'll be posting pictures of Mom wearing it at an event this weekend so you can see what they look like.
