Birdy Princess- Birdykins     Barked: Sun Jul 25, '10 6:16pm PST  I actually had no bad experiences with dogs to ME physically until last week. I was at work, a doggy health food store. A woman had come in with the most GINORMOUS Pitbull I had EVER seen. I asked the woman if her pup would like a treat and she said SURE! I said let me go grab one from the front counter and went to walk past the pitbull when he went CRAZY. Had I not jumped back about 10 feet in about 1 second he'd have ripped my throat out. The woman said....oh you must smell like another dog, he doesn't like that. I mean WHAT????? OMG I mean here she is in a store where people brings their dogs and cats in to shop all the time and of course I smell like my dog who I kiss and hug before I go to work every day. Scared the life outta me. Dogs was vicious and went after the lab and golden that were in the store as well and tried to get the owner of one of them too. Raw works great for some not for others. I like to make sure people know there are all kinds of options out there, so much more than were available in the years past. I feed kibble/HK Enforce. My dog needs to have low purine low protein because she's a stone former. But bouncing around over a period of a year could just be how much exercise he's getting maybe depending on the weather? Say in winter you don;t go out as much so he gains...as the weather warms up your are out more he loses?
