o cedar has a spray mop, same style as a wet jet, but you fill the bottle with your own solution. i've been using vinegar and water for the past 2 years, and have never had issues with my house not being clean enough.

Macy has a short coat, so we bathe once or twice a month depending on how dirty she gets going on walks. Her nails are clipped every 2 weeks, i clean out her ears when she gets bathed. She gets combed 2-3X a week, at which time I spray a coat conditioner on her and paw cream on her feet.

Jordan is long haired so we follow the same routine as macy except I trim down his potty area once a month.

The only thing I use is vinegar and water. I classify as an over protective dog-mom, but if they live longer lives because of it, that's all I care. I mix it in a little spray bottle and use it on counters, stovetop, windows, mirrors, the floor. I'd eventually like to get a steam mop, for an even deeper clean.

Macy's had tapeworms before, my vet didn't need to see her, I just dropped of a fecal sample. Check with your vet it may be the same. Tapeworms are spread by fleas, In order for the tapeworms to spread to other animals or humans they'd have to injest an infected flea, so it might also be a good idea to treat for fleas and if you have any other dogs take a fecal sample in for them too.

We both go on hikes with mom, I'm around 7 pounds and my sister macy is around 5 pounds. Mommy is careful to bring water for us, and if it's a long hike or rough ground, mommy lets us alternate between walking and being carried. Overall she tries to keep our walks to around 1 mile, 1.5 miles tops. We love to hike!

The lease should have some kind of statement in it that allows the landlord access to the premises. This is in order to protect the building, and can be loosely followed if your landlord/manager isn't trustworthy. Ie. The apt above your's reported a leak, had to check yours, I smelled smoke, etc.

Unfortunately, people like that lady ruin things for everyone, in that eventually landlords get tired of dealing with disputes and enforce a no pet policy.

If I were your friend I would see if the lease can be broken due to the misinformation and confusion the broker caused, and move somewhere that is going to be accepting, it's not healthy for her or her dog to deal with neighbors like that.

We have two chi's and had to move from our last place due to harrassing neighbors. They complained that the dog's weren't being cleaned up after and claimed they had surveillance of it. That after three offenses dogs were taken away, and they had proof of 5 offenses. (they were always cleaned up after btw) They threatened us that they were going to pay our landlord $10grand to evict us, and left threatening notes on my car. It ended up all being because they felt I had parked in "their spot"

Dog Health > Yet another problem

Sorry for what you're going through, but I'm not sure pet insurance would help, if you get it now, theres a waiting period before you can use it, and preexisting conditions aren't covered, so anything itch, mange, skin related they would refuse. I have insurance for macy and because she had been to the vets for gastroenteritis once in her life before i was insured they considered it preexisting (i don't think it's fair, like a human getting a cold, if you had one 3 years ago, it's an unrelated cold not a prexisting condition, bol!)

Chihuahua's are generally a healthy breed (when bred right) I would take them off the list. I would add boxers, as I believe they are the breed with the highest incidence of cancer.
