| | Barked: Mon Jul 4, '11 12:23pm PST | | | | | Mom was petting me on Saturday and for some reason she looked under my harness and she found a "black" mole kind of between my shoulder blades under the harness. She's in panic mode, trying to get me a vet appointment asap.
Please send some good thoughts and/or prayers. I had heartworms when mom and dad fostered me, and I almost died when going through that treatment three years ago. | | | | |

| | Barked: Mon Jul 4, '11 12:19pm PST | | | | | Saying prayers for Mungo...our foster Defi had seizures a few weeks ago..also undetermined reason, but she's hasn't had another one, thank you God, since one at 1:00 a.m. in the morning the same 24 hour period. She's on phenobartitol, a low dose. She has severe heartworms, but vet feels like they are not connected to the seizures, but not we're dealing with whether to treat her for the heartworms or not.

| | Barked: Sun Mar 21, '10 2:24pm PST | | | | | Our dogs before Cassie and Hunter ate Pedigree (recommended by a friend who shows dogs) and they didn't know any better. Then both Max and Impy had problems, Max kidney problems and Impy bladder stones, and not knowing better, we followed vet recommendations for prescription Science Diet. Fortunately, through the CRM board that mom belongs to, they know more about food now, and we are on either Merricks or Fromms, changing back and forth every 6 months. We tried Wellness, but Cassie would get the runs about once a month on that, and she does much better on the Fromms and Merrick. | | | | |
