Morning all, went to the gym - by 7 AM and finished there 8:30 - grocery for a few things and now running carpet cleaner and getting organized. Just checked for a little tv table at BBB here, there is one but looks sort of flimsy, Abby's tail can knock things over very easily.

Flickamom, I was saying to the Boys about their pond with the boat on it. Did you say your pond is from the water but will eventually dry? I better read better puppy

The sun is out but it is cold and we are set for inside tonight, phooey - supposed to be a picnic. Tom will still grill outside, in his coat.

Hugs to all for a safe Memorial Day start - thinking of DarlaMae and SSMom and family, always are in our hearts hug

Oh where do the days go to - Rob took Christina to the hospital for a procedure and stayed with her and took her home. Her mother was nervous and he said he wanted to help, so I got a little flower vase and have it when we see her next time. She is relieved it is over - woman stuff.

Anniemom, I am so sorry to hear the news, but as was said, you will always take the very best care of Annie and she will be watched closely. It is sort of weird as Aunt Jo has a cyst on her kidney - it is inside, they did ultrasound. And she said she felt "off and pain in her stomach" so maybe that is what Annie is feeling. Is she on iron supplement or anything? Glad your son is home with his family.

I am watching Sarge like a hawk lately, he has ups and downs, today was good as it was Cold here, about 40's this morning.

So sad about shooting the animals but if in such pain and nothing can be done, they are running free now, together, bless their hearts.

Got my salad made, strawberries all ready and marinated the shiskabobs. They should be good and we have Tom's potatoe salad, that he made today. 4:00 they will be here, early people, so we'll be finished up by 8, I am guessing. Sometimes it's nice to be old and just turn in early! way to go

Boys, hope you are enjoying your Pond - how wonderful that is! Is your husband off of work? Abby would love that but would take off on us, I'm afraid. Little Jack, our son, Tom and wife - Courtney's Pom, is 7 tomorrow - he is all black and grey at the muzzle.

Hugs to all - missing more Buh ens but maybe are busy with the weekend. dog walk

Glad to hear that the appt. went well, Flickamom and you dropped off your supplies. We are following coverage and are praying for all the people. It is heartwarming to see the animals reunited with their owners, I think I horse was missing, hopefully located.

We had rain here, needed and glad that the flowers are all in. Going to the gym in a few minutes, been slacking off this week with the heat, but it is cooling down.

Our menu so far for Saturday's golf couples - Chivetta's chicken breasts, Tom will grill, Catalina "Pink Potato Salad" - Tom's friend gave us this recipe in 1981 and it is still on the websites! My cousin's pea salad - it is a cold salad with vegetables. My sil loves this. Strawberry shortcake, coffee. Cheese, crackers and maybe get a small bag of shrimp and sauce to have before dinner. So not alot of preparation, guess we will hope to eat on the deck, but probably in the dining room that gets used one time a year - so maybe best to eat there! Some people have done dining rooms to be like a den with bookshelves, it looks neat.

I put the Cool Collar on Sarge to go to the park and he stayed only in the long grass and we left after he took a very short walk.

Good to see Ophelia here! And hoping that Scooter and family are all ok - River xo and Hayden families

Glad to hear news of Clark and will think of him today for his appointment. Hope he is propping up for sleeping, it does help the breathing.

Ernie is amazing, and glad he came through ok with the meds you got for him

Boys, Happy Anniversary to mom and dad! flowers

hughughughughughug Angel Jenna hughughughughughug the angels are surrounding you, sweet girl. cloud 9cloud 9cloud 9 Hoping Maiyah is enjoying the blue jays.

Flickamom, we donated to the OK Humane Society for the animals. As you say, they can use the money for things that are needed directly. So many may be in need and they comfort their families that are so affected by this terrible disaster. I remember the Kirk family was so relieved their dogs were ok and were concerned about heart worm and flea medications and food for them. big hug It is just tragic what has happened to the beautiful place, our hearts are so sad.

Glad you could change your appt. and and Jay Lab work. What did the doctor say of the testing that you sent in to them a few weeks ago? So sorry to hear of the damage to your trees and things.

Anniemom, happy your power issue was fixed and the long weekend will be a nice one.
How is Annie feeling now? Does she seem more herself? Lovely Gardenia picture.

Love all the pictures you all post, of flowers and whatever - they are wonderful!

Hugs to Ernie, so glad the procedure is done and healing beginning.

Had a scare with Sarge yesterday, humidity is high, heat - and he is over 9 now, we went to park (not Dog Park) by our house late yesterday and he laid in the long grass, then got on the bench as he loves to watch the people from a "higher vantage point" - anyhow, I gave him water from his bottle and he started vomiting for almost 3 minutes and when calmed I got him in the car and full a/c on and home. Either heat or pancreatitus, was awful to see and nothing I could do. I went back later and washed the area down. I am so careful with Sarge and he seemed fine til he had the water. I have to get the Cool Collar out that Crew sent to him a few years ago.

Boys, Happy Anniversary a little early
kissingkissing to you! Hoping your daddy has some time off and you have a wonderful weekend!

LunaChix run was nice run, very hot - they are having early Monday run by Ellicott Creek path.
Nutrician class planned, looking forward to that.

Sending lots of love to SS Mom and family, is the internet still on the blitz?

We invited Tom's 2 golfing buddies and wives for cookout on Saturday. The one couple had us all to their house last year, gardens were amazing, it is their hobby. They've been golfing about 5 years I think, together.

Had a nice time with Minx and Aunt Jo - we got Ted's hot dogs, onion rings and brought home - I had coupons - buy one get one - and visited til her PT came.

Tom and I went to the Forest Lawn Cemetery after I got home about 12:30 and cleaned Minx/AJ's family area as we do every year, and put little flags and some are veterans.

Hi to Hayden, Scooter, River and all wave

Tragic pictures and reports, and they are saying a tornado is just about the worst of the natural disasters, in a flash, your life is changed and all around you. We are so sorry for all the families and praying for some help for them.

Remembering Joplin and the Kirk family - how all was gone but a wall and the bathroom they were all in with their 5 dogs. They stayed with her sister in law til house could be rebuilt. We helped them with clothing and meds and flea preps for the dogs, one of our own Dogsters.

Ernie, that is terrible, I didn't know that they did a pain medication but with Abby she left her's alone, amazingly so praying will Ernie. Hoping the vet found some help for him, especially as he is still getting adjusted to surroundings and all. Poor sweetheart. hug I think that T is a good pain medication.

They can order things through your regular pharmacy, they did for Rocky, just phoned it in and we picked it up.

Going to look at the links, Flickamom, and don't go near Moore - broken glass and things all over. Hoping that your appt. will wait a bit.

Had my run last night and high humidity. There are things planned - nutrition class and a Memorial Day run at the Ellicot Creek, we used to live on the creek years ago and all these ducks would waddle to the patio every morning. Had a dock and was very peaceful there on the water.

Found a nest of bunnies, mom was killed, we took them in and 'raised them' with Esbilac and all survived but one - let them go. Never forget getting up every few hours with the eye dropped.

Hugs and love to all - my friend Minx will be here 9:30 I'll get her at the airport and to Aunt Jo's who had ultrasound on Sat. and they called Monday a growth on her kidney. She has appt. Thursday. She is like my 'aunt' as I have known all my life.

Boys, your place sounds wonderful.

Anniemom, so glad that your son likes the new job and also will go to see the family, a good weekend. So cute about the hummers 'fighting'!

Hugs to all and in our hearts big hugflowersbig hug

We are listening to the reports of the tornado and terrible devestation, and our prayers are with all of those family. They said it was a mile across, and just like a bomb hit and leveled all in it's path. Hoping you are alright Flickamom and family hughughug

Hope that Ernie is home safely after his procedure. Hayden, hoping that you are ok, wonder if a prescription calmative could help you, we got it for Rocky, he was just terrified of noise as he got older.

The terrible weather, it can just change your life in a matter of minutes.

Hoping you got some sleep, Flickamom, hate those tornadoes and always will remember Joplin and Ashland's family losing everything they owned. Tom thanks all for his birthday wishes and had a good weekend - the weather was amazing and hot - today, too. Golf early, will walk Abby early as she is not good in the heat.

I was and probably wearing the pink, but it is local store and can return it. The other dresses are from store OOT and free shipping to and from, and so thought I would see. They are more basic and more something I could wear again with a jacket, too. Basically boring old lady dresses, classic though! If shipping was involved, I wouldn't be doing it as it is terrible.

How is Annie today and Maiyah? Hayden - dread fireworks for Memorial Day - and this is your holiday weekend. Wish they were soundless, with just colors.

Ernie is having his neuter procedure - sending hughug to Ernie hughug and find the antics of Burt so cool! He is coming into his own for sure!

Got to move along, will be back. Courtney and Tom stopped, she had a wonderful time in LA and LV - saw the Rolling Stones, the bride to be husband is 15 years older and had connections to get some tickets for them. He was very nice, C said.

Missing SS Mom and always in our prayers flowers

party Happy Birthday, Tom! wishes Thanks for the wishes, he loved his presents and the dinner was lots of fun. Weather was great, which we could wear Summer clothes - woohoo! We got a few appetizers to share and all had something different. Son and he were going to play early golf, but Tom had to cancel.

With Annie, I think I would keep a little log of things, maybe the days she is 'off' throwing up, eating/not - poop does tell alot, but Rocky always had normal bowels, so I don't know if that is a good guide as much as appetite and behavior. I see Abby eating grass but not throwing up, maybe she likes it? When I go to the vet, my brain goes into senility mode. Didn't he think of an ultrasound at one point?

Flickamom, meant to say that the mower we have is a Power mower, just that you push it. Some of those oldies are good to get around the trees and things, though. Your grass will let up when the heat kicks in, I would imagine. We have to put more sturdy things in, and on the 'island' Kelly stopped, who helped with the monument/planting yesterday - she is getting Daylillies and some lava rock or the like which is less bother for next year. Too hot for regular plants there, although they are colorful and pretty.

Ordered 2 dresses to see for the wedding, and actually just to have one of them in my closet as I need a basic dress at times. My mother always said to have a pair of good dark slacks and a plain blouse and jacket. Tried on everything in Buffalo, New York, I think. When you are an "Apple" shape it is hard to dress.

Hi Boys - hoping that hubby can get the time off for your anniversary. Can you imagine it is going to be Memorial Day next weekend?

Hi sweet River, big hug where are Scooter, Crew - we know SS Family having problems with internet.

Beautiful day out, ready to get moving here and enjoy the sun.

dogway to godogway to gocloud 9 Maiyah cloud 9dogway to go Glad you are home, sweet girl!

wave to all - Had a crazy day yesterday. Thursday night I worked at the Paw Park for 3 hours maintenance stuff, I waterproofed picnic tables, one of which I made last year-with help, of course!hamster dance but it feels good to be a part of something. The 2nd Anniversary is in June and will make a basket for that and there are vendors, etc.

Yesterday AM, walked Abby early, Tom was playing golf, finally, this week after the washout on Monday. The neighbor went with them. I got some things done here and then 2 stops to T & C's dogs, to let them out and drink water for the one on medicine
Stopped at the mall to see if they had a nice light cologne for Tom he's not really into that alot, So I got a gift card from "All the Doggies" to Daddy/Grandpa. Made a chicken stir fry for dinner. Went all over 3 pet stores for a collar for Abby, that I liked and wasen't stiff as cardboard. even the good ones were hard - found one at Target, right colors and soft. Her's broke when Tom walking her and had to loop the leash around her neck.

Hope all is well, going to the gym at 6:45 for my 2 classes and then home to make cupcakes for tonight. Dinner at 5:30 at Bonefish and back here for presents - tomorrow is his actual birthday. party

Flowers here are looking good and the cooler weather helps. We didn't put in as many but my seeds for Moonflowers, Chinese Lanterns are what I hope come up and I can plant in time. Also sunflowers. Those Chinese Lanterns just aren't sold around here, as plants. All your flowers - Boys and Flickamom, sound wonderful. And Anniemom glad son has the weekend to relax.

We get a few hummingbirds here, depending what is on the deck, didn't put out big pots, just little ones of fushia, pansies and geranium and my patio tomato. And the lilac tree keeping blooming even though the snow that year in Oct. 2005 I think ruined it pretty much. I planted from a little stick thing and it is huge.

Annie, hoping that you feel ok now are you eating ok? - Abby eats grass especially now that it is fresh and long, and Sarge does occasionally.

big hugflowerskissing sweet River and family big hugflowerskissing so glad to see you.

Hoping SSMom and family are doing better, miss seeing them, is the computer not working or internet?

Crew has a neuter for Ernie, I think on Monday - memory is not the greatest.

Take care all, back later dog walk

hugpartywishes Happy Birthday to Loki wishespartypartysnoopy I didn't see that on our Pals Community page - thinking

Windy - all my hard work sweeping garage and deck - all gone again - a mess out there

Tom is cutting the grass really grows fast - we have a large lot but he likes the old walking mower, we all offered to go in on a rider, but most here have those services, and the others have the power mowers. Probably why he has no problem losing weight plus walking Abby - I took Sarge to the dog park and lots of little dogs, so we went to the smaller/older dog side, Sarge was worn out in the heat after 15 minutes and we went home.

What are you getting at the grocery store - Flickamom - do you buy the same things, I seem to over and over, rarely try something new and I should as they like different things - not too weird.

Got to get moving and cut the beans and fix potatoes (red ones) for tonight, small mushrooms and the flank steak, some pastries and fruit salad. He'll take a container for lunch tomorrow.

We eat early here compared to lot of people, around 5:00 - how about the rest of Buhens? I get hungry and am ready at noon for a big meal, which I do that too, and then small at later - if I was going to the gym late like I used to couldn't eat and then work out and classes.

Glad son is enjoying Oregon - will he look around for a place or wait for the family to come?

Rob would love to buy a house - the one next door is not selling - 2 real estate and nothing, grass over our knees - I said go talk to pwner, who is moving in with girlfriend. It is a small ranch house, probably 50 years old.
