There was even a time when I brought him in and I saw this really very badly matted dog on the groomers table. Couldn't help myself from saying, "Wow. Poor dog." The groomer even confided that the owners didn't want to shave her down. They wanted her dematted. Currently, I'm trying to get media attention for this two girls (students in an aviation school) who proudly posted in their facebook wall how they regularly kicked and hurt this stray cat in their school. One even admitted to kicking her from the 4th floor down to the 3rd floor of the building while the cat was pregnant... Unfortunately, I guess it's not newsworthy enough for them to run it. Choosing the Right Dog > If you could...?

Wufei I'm not a boy,- I'm a real dog!     Barked: Wed Sep 19, '12 1:27am PST  I'd love to rescue, but if I'll be realistic about it... breed specific rescues are impossible in my country. I live in a country where purebreeds are taken cared of and mutts are given away, there are provinces where dog meat trade is rampant, some people are even proud to post in their facebook wall how they kick and hurt cats... There are animal rights laws but it's implementation leave a lot to be desired. So yes, I'd want to rescue.
