Flicka, glad you are ok . I was thinking about you. Very sad about Moore. Music for Relief stated they will visit and see what they can do to help. They aid in natural disaster relief and raise awareness of other environmental issues. I won $4 but I can hardly retire off of that! I heard there was a singles winning ticket though. I guess I will save my $4 for when if gets back up to half billion. Lazed on the patio all weekend. Just got back from Ice cream shop. It's 90 here but storms are moving in.. My friend in Minnesota is getting them now. Tornado warnings and hail. I would love to do a 365 project someday though. It's one of my goals. Nicky got his new swag today- Thanks DoggyLoot.com and Dog-Flags.com! The bandanna also fits on a leash for better visibility. The lettering on the leash is printed on though and not embroidered so not sure how long that will last. Still a good deal though. I just ordered it thursday so I was really surprised that it got here this quickly. The weekly car shows just started last week so I will have to take him sometime and try them out! After a few months of peace and quiet, we're having squirrel drama again. The huge nest in the backyard ended up on our front porch after the big flooding storm, and all was well in the land. Well, they're back and they're ripping up our pretty trees to rebuild their nest, and teasing the dogs. These squirrels are so bold. They will sit there 15 feet from where their tie out ends and drive them nuts. I swear they do it on purpose! For the first time ever our deviled eggs did not turn out good The yolks didn't get done enough, some still were a teensy bit raw in the center, so we put them in the microwave to finish cooking them. Still didn't look right but finished making them anyway. They were kind of rubbery and don't crumble like they should when you mash them. I have a ton of pics to share, maybe I will finally get to posting them tomorrow My thyroid test came in the mail today. My levels are above normal range but they're not TOO far off so I'll have to see what my doctor says about that and if meds are even necessary for that. Ok, here's 1 pic to share. I brought this copper beauty home today- Any name suggestions? He's actually for my Mom. Her Betta just died so I decided why not get her another one for Mother's Day. We seriously spent way longer than any person should trying to pick a fish out. We couldn't decide between this one and a turquoise and white piebald double tail. I'm a big Betta fanatic and wanted them both, but don't have enough suitable tanks. Ultimately my mom said paying $10 for a fish was ridiculous, so this guy came home with us. Hopefully we can actually catch some fish this year! Tyler I wish I had more Paris pics to post but she is SO difficult to photograph! It's against her religion to sit still, she's easily distracted, and either runs away or turns her head when I get the camera out. That pic I posted was taken from 20 feet away with the zoom. Nicky on the other hand is a perfect model. He's jumped out of shopping carts before. Maybe when he's old and crotchety we'll be able to try it out I looked like those turtles this weekend It was nice to sit outside and get some fresh air and a little bit of sun. Had a hawk come in real close to eye Paris. She attracts a lot of trouble because she looks just like a rabbit. Nicky it's my party &- i'll cry if i- want to     Barked: Sat May 4, '13 12:40pm PST  Nick's way overdue for his bath too. I don't think he's been bathed in over a year. He doesn't really smell, but I can tell his fur is getting kind of grimy. I use the hair dryer on him and it takes about an hour to get him mostly dry. Yesterday we had a drive by hailing which was kind of weird. It started pouring down hail and it only lasted for about 10 minutes and stopped Our poor baby grass!!! Had to get up early today to go get squeezed in at the lab for my glucose re-take. Results should be in tuesday so fingers crossed it's normal this time.
