Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Sun Jun 16, '13 4:41pm PST  Hi Everyone! Just wanted to pop in and let you know I'm still around. It's a different Summer this year. Wet, windy, cool and humid so far. Crops are getting cut worms and now watching for disease from it being to wet. I hung a bird feeder on one of my living room windows and have been watching little birds eating. We have Sparrows and Yellow Finch. My son and I are having so much fun watching them. I also ordered the My Spy Birdhouse. You can watch a bird make a nest with the see through back. No birds have moved in! But the feeders are still fun! I bought a book so my son can look and we can try and find out what kind of birds are eating! I didn't know the males are the pretty ones! We are learning lots! Bella and Roxy like to lay on top of the couch and watch the birds too! Fluffy Thor is getting BIGGER and killed his first Muskrat! He had it trapped next to the steps on the house, by the time we got out there he had killed it! Ugly things! It was about 3am so we were out in Pj's and slippers! Tuesday Fluffly Thor is getting his hair done! I am so excited! Boy does he have hair! The wooly coated Malamute has a LOT! Love the pictures everyone posts. Fun to see them. Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Tue Jun 4, '13 7:05pm PST  Hi Everyone! It's been raining here almost everyday. We have gotten 2 1/2 inches yesterday and today. The ground is so wet we are having flooding. I took my Mom to Minot today and the 10 miles of gravel road we drive was TERRIBLE! I drove in the ditch on our way home about a half mile from my parents farm! My Brother came in the tractor and pulled us out. I was driving slow so we slid nicely into the ditch. Of course my Hubby said I should know how to drive in this mud, but guess not today! . The new gravel they put on is sand and dirt and deep! Can't take a car on this road right now! My Expedition had a hard time! I have a couple new pictures of Roxy on her page. Thank you Jewel for your help! I dropped my IPad that is in a Otter Box, on my foot! The corner of the IPad hit my little toe! It HURT really bad! It is blue and purple today and hurts! No shoes on of course! . I've been hearing about all the bad weather some of you have been having. Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Thu May 9, '13 9:22pm PST  . Hi everyone We think the fires out now. My husbands been spraying the trees that are still burning. It's been windy here and the trees would just glow and start burning again. The tree grove is thick. We can hear the trees crashing down. We lost such a big area of trees! It's so upsetting! The old equipment that was parked back in that area we didn't use anymore. It smells smokey here yet. My son is doing pretty good on his sprained ankle. He's pretty excited school is almost done! Our last day of school is May 17th!! I'm ready for it to be over! The last week of school is full of fun stuff going on. Lots for the kids to look forward to. Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Wed May 8, '13 10:33am PST  Bunny, is it you? Happy Birthday!!? So we had a lot of excitement here yesterday. First the school called and my youngest son was crying his ankle hurt. Took him to doctor and he has a sprained ankle. Poor kid is upset he can't run. While in Minot my hubby called to tell me he had a fire at our farm! He was grinding/welding and some sparks started a fire! Just crazy how fast it spread when there is still some snow in the trees! He saved his welding shop and was able to move the boat, 2 tractors out of the way. Lots of trees burned. It looks so different. Fire department come and got most of the fire out. They left a water truck here because the trees are still burning. The wind come up last night a different direction and it started burning again. Hubby was out many times putting fires out. . We are very thankful the welding shop was saved. So much money in tools and equipment in there! Plus he just had the building resided and painted with a special paint! They just finished doing that a couple days ago! Good news is Thor loved all the firemen that come. He got lots of attention. We had people stopping over looking at the fire and damage. You could see the smoke from a long ways away. It was hot here yesterday. It was 78 degrees at our farm. In Minot my car said 80. Today is cool and windy. Hope everyone has a good day. Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Fri May 3, '13 8:35pm PST  . Bella did ok today at the Vet. Teeth cleaned with no problems and hair shaved. She lost a little weight. She is 5.2 pounds. She was 5.8 last time. I don't know why, I leave food out for her all the time plus she eats whatever my son has! . Bella is just small. Glad this day is over! Thor is so much fun! He's a pain too! He followed the guys around working today. They finished the building so Thor's new friends are gone. They sure liked him. Thor played in the water when my older son was washing his pickup. I told my youngest son to not get wet and stay out of the water! So when he comes in, he's wet! He said, Thor did it! He leaned on me and got my jeans all wet! . Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Thu May 2, '13 7:34pm PST  . Hi Everyone! Beautiful day here. I think it got to 50 degrees. This weekend is upper 60's! Tomorrow is Bella's big day. She is going to the Vet to be put under and have her teeth cleaned and hair shaved, nails cut, the works. She's still such a stinker over her hair! I feel bad about it. Roxy is so easy. I have to be at the Vet at 8:30 am and pick her up about 3:30 pm. It will be a long day for me! We have some guys here putting on a new roof on our big building my hubby welds in. We told the guys to watch their stuff because Thor will help himself to anything laying around! They couldn't believe how big her was at 8 months old! . Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Sun Apr 28, '13 5:29pm PST  My son has been outside trying to catch a bird and looking for Frogs! If anyone has any Extra Frogs, please send them to us!!! I guess you have bigger cooler Frogs then we do! Dinner was good. Company gone. My sister comes tomorrow. My Dads still poorly. My brother helped him outside today so he could ride the four wheeler around the farm and check things over. He didn't stay out long but enjoyed being out. Roxy Here comes- Trouble!     Barked: Sat Apr 27, '13 7:55pm PST  Hi everyone! Yesterday was out first hot day! We hit 70 degrees! Today was nice to at 71 and windy. Lots of snow melted. We got hot cleaning up the yard! Oh my for the stuff Thor has all over the yard! Lots of treasures after the snow has melted! Thor helped clean too! My son is really enjoying these nice days. Him and Thor are all over the farm looking stuff over.
