Frequency of "reverse sneezing"?

Can any experienced Chin owners tell me if I should be worried about how often Griffin has those snorting, reverse sneezing attacks? He'll have 4 or 5 of them during the time I'm home. They only last 5-10 seconds and I know that's normal for the breed, but the frequency of them has me worried. His heart rate doesn't increase when it happens and he doesn't seem distressed. Any thoughts?

Griffin: You are way too cute! I have one suggestion. I noticed in the pics on Griffin's page that he has what is called stenotic nares where the nostrils look like small slits instead of the round opening most dogs have. We had Gabby's lasered open and her breathing became soooo much better. She only has the reverse sneeze once or twice a week. I would try talking to your vet about this procedure. It was very non-invasive and the laser does away with a lot of the healing time of a scalpel. Let us know how it goes!wave
