I decided to start a fresh new thread for Bible Trivia. Meowmie says I can only do it once a week so that it's easier fur her to remember. So from now on it will be Wednesday.

Mew half got it Grace. It's actually chapter 19 but mew get the basket anyway. The story of the Triumphal Entrance is covered in Luke Chapter 19 verses 29-40. However only Matthew speaks of Jesus weeping over the city.

This question is going to be a bit harder. In Catholic teachings there is a process called transubstantiation. What element of The Last Supper does this relate to?

The bread is the true real body of Christ.thinking That once the Priest blesses the bread it is the divine body of Christ. This is what the church calls:
transubstantiation.....I try to study Catholic doctrine a little.

We are not Catholic, but our adult children and grandchildren are.
We try to be aware of some of the differences within our family.
Denominational differences can sometimes be a problem.big grin

I don't know if I explained this well or not??????thinkingbig grinmazy

Again half right, but right enough to work fur me. The wine is believed to also become the blood. The idea being that the substance of God is in all things. The substance of God is in Jesus as the human manifestation of the substance. So when the blessing is bestowed. The substance of Jesus is the substance of the bread and wine. However this is the misnomer on the protestants part, it is the substance, but the physical being. The bread and while retain the appearance to man and science, only the substance is changed. Both of mew get a basket for being right about the bread.

The betrayal and arrest in the garden appears in all 4 books but which book doesn't contain an account of the prayer said beforehand?
