	Mom's going grocery shopping for the appropriate football snacks. For our party here, we have requested our favorite Lil Smokies wrapped in crescent rolls, meatballs, and something for the barby. Hmmmm.... What to put on the barby? Chicken wings? Oh and some cheese and crackers and maybe some salami or summer sausage to go with that! Just looked over at Lucy....she is drooling

	Such a cute page. It is pretty nice here, 60's. More like TX weather. We are waiting for the repair guy to come fix the timer on the washer. We need to do laundry Mom is grumpy, not herself.....we need to cheer her up. She came home from the ear doc not happy. She never actually saw him because after sitting in the waiting room for an hour and 15 minutes she left. People that had come in after her went in before, etc. She told the receptionist she was leaving. On the road the rec called and said he wanted to speak to mom, but mom just told her to tell him she is not coming back. Really irks mom that docs do that. Most she goes to are better than that so she will not tolerate it. It takes 45 mins to get to his office, then wait and wait and by the time you are home the day is shot. She has an appt with the OTHER Neurotologist 2/4/ so it is back to square 1 with the ear docs. Ok, mom has vented long enough. Maddie is coming for a sleepover tomorrow night.

	Oh, Trooper. We know how mom feels. My mom has left after waiting as well. She left the dentists office once after 45 minutes because no one bothered to say he was running late or when she would be seen. Sure enough, the dentist called but mom never went back. And even here she went for just a blood pressure check and the receptionist forgot to put her chart up. So 4 other patients got called back. After an hour, mom asked what was going on. It was just a BP check with the nurse. She was furious and her BP was very high! Mom changed doctors after that. They were not apologetic at all. When mom worked in a clinic and the doctors were unavoidably late, mom always told the patients and did what she could, reschedule them or whatever. But specialists that run consistently late are just a pain

	So excited to see the Football thread! We're excited for the Falcons! Things are getting exciting around here. For the party we are bringing for : Peach Salsa, Dirty Bird Bean Dip and Nacho chips, For supper: Traditional Southern Fried Chicken, Hot Wings, Southern Style Potato Salad and fresh fruit salad. For desert, chocolate football shaped cookies, and homemade apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Trooper, this is for your mom We're so sorry she's having to go through so much right now. More then likely, it's not the doctor's fault, other then the fact they need to get their office manager on the ball. That's inexcusable!!!! It's very aggravating when they are incompetent, office staff and or doctor, and you don't have to put up with it!

	Hi Peaches!!! We are all pup pals with Cody and he may be joining us tonight if he's feeling better. I guess he had an upset tummy How did you meet him? he's so cute!!! Wow, what great food. Can we have some even though we are rooting for the other team?
