I know that some folks think you have to have a "blue blood" dog, that is just nuts. I think that it is because they have NEVER met a Morkie! I went many years without a dog in my life. We wanted to get a dog that we would enjoy, it really didn't matter what breed as long as they fit what we were looking for. We wanted a dog that was loving, small, easy to train and smart. We found all of this in Andy. We got Andy when he was three months old and just fell in love with Morkies, so much so we just added DeeJay to our family. We really love the personality and intelligence of these dogs. Why did you guys get a Morkie?

My little guy was actually a present for my mom, and he had too much energy for my 80+ year old parents...he was wearing them out (my dad isn't well, and my sisters thought it would be wonderful for my mom to have the company while my dad naps...but he wasn't letting him get his needed rest.) I took him overnight to give them a break...and then my mom sadly told me that she thought he would be better off with me and that she could just visit him. I of course love him to pieces, and wouldn't ever give him back but I love to share him with them.
