	Today was so strange...even before Cindy's alarm clock went off we heard this loud wailing sound...kinda like the police cars and fire trucks and stuff, but different. You shoulda seen Cindy move...wow, she rolled out of bed, ran downstairs and turned on the other radio...and funny, it wasn't music playing like usual. Just lots of folks talking. Then she went to the big book by the phone, and she was staring at this one page a long time. Then she said "we're okay, we don't have to leave"...wow...what could that mean? Then suddenly she was gone...she came back smelling like gas station. And then she started filling everything up with water...the washing machine, but there were no clothes in it...then the bathtub. Me n Barney thought for sure we'd get baths, but no. And Cindy didn't get in either. She kept filling everything with water....so strange. Then we sat in front of the TV for a long time. Me n Barney kept watching Cindy wondering what was so intriguing...the same picture was on the TV...Cindy said it was "Hilo Bay." We kept hearing "tsunami" ... Anyway, finally about lunchtime, everything seemed back to normal. I hope we NEVER wake up to that weird siren thing again. Breakfast was way, way late today. And we didn't get our walk on the beach either.
