Itching like CRAZY!! Please Help!!

	I rescued Cujo from the pound in June and he's had no health issues, but recently he's started itching like crazy and I don't know how to help him. He's on Wellness Puppy food and gets no wheat, corn, or soy. I keep him pretty grain free, he gets NO people food except some pure pumpkin from time to time (to help w/ runny poo) and very rarely he gets a couple licks of yogurt. He's recently gone to the groomers for an oatmeal bath to no avail. What can I do to make my little guy more comfortable? I don't think it's his food as he hasn't ever had a problem before....I am cutting him off all treats to see if that helps. Any input is greatly appreciated! Also, he will need a new Adult dog food soon....suggestions are appreciated!!

	i am sorry your puppy is so itchy!!!. wheatens are very allergic to fleas, one bite and it can send them in a itching fest. it can even lead to a skin infection if they continue to strach. kellen will be itchy for days after one fles bite and we live in a wooded area. so i keep up on his flea drops, every two weeks, and there are pills you can give them that kills all adult fleas that could be on you baby. you could also try fish oil to help keep the itching down and a half of a benadryl. that might make you wheatie sleepy but they will stop itching. good luck with your itching battle.
