Hey all, we are new here. I started on Monday with a raw diet for my dalmatian, Delta. It's a bit modified due to dalmatian needs, but I try to keep it as prey model as possible! She's 5 months old and a total sweet heart. I'm nervous about starting a puppy on raw because I haven't even had a dog on raw before. I don't want to ruin my dog before she's even an adult. But I've done a ton of research and have gotten to know a lot of people on the raw forum. smile Hope to learn even more here!

Not to worry! Like you said you are doing your homework and not just jumping in! My Jack Russel, Violet, has been on raw exclusively since she was 7 weeks old. My Dane breeder weans straight to raw, so there is no such thing as too young! Keep it up! It is really worth it! Plus, with all of the issues that dals are so prone to, like hot spots and skin issues, raw will avoid all of that diet related piece! Congratulations! We are behind ya! smilesnoopy
