how much time do you get with your mom and/or dad? I mean quality, playing, cuddling type of time? the reason she is wondering is that she is feeling like she is not giving us enough attention. She works all day and is gone about 11 hours. We play when she gets home, then we have dinner and then we usually join her in the den while she does computer stuff. After that we snuggle on the couch and then we all pile in the bed for the night. She is at home with us when she isn't at work - but she wonders if just being at home with us gives us enough attention. No problems with us - she is just wondering how the rest of you spend your time.

On her days off mommy do take us for walks and we wuvs dat. Mommy gits kinda grumpy though because when she tries to sleep in on dem days off ...or like now with the time change we wakes her up we do...clocks don't mean a bunch to us we just know its time to GET UP MOMMY GET UP! BOL | | | | |

| | Barked: Tue Nov 3, '09 9:22pm PST | | | | | | Eek!! Quality direct time.Hmm... My mommy is a multi-task type person. Very rarely is she ever doing one thing at a time. Maybe my mommy is bad. I will have to ask my human brother about this one.
Usually she is doing something else at the same time she is with me-chores, computer, telephone, reading, sleeping, tv , lesson planning, etc. I'm with her the whole time, but ya, she is usually doing something else in addition to spending time with me. Not to mention, halo is there too!
I think maybe I'll have to put some provisos up for my mama.  | | | | |

As long as we are in fairly close proximity, then it's all good for me. Halo, she likes to be on my mom's lap or picked up. She will always run over to my mom to pick her up, like a human baby. | | | | |

One of us is usually on her lap when she's on the computer, but we have beds in the den where the computer is, so we can be close to her. When she sews, we hang out on the big bed cause the sewing machine is in our bedroom. And at night we all pile up on the couch and watch TV. Just have to see mom! Katie and Molly are more likely to ask for lap time though. | | | | |

I'm pretty much with them 24/7 and I do get lots of one on one while they drive from one account to the next at work. And Momma takes me out for several short walks every day at work, too.
But I am not spoiled.... AT ALL!!! 
Penny Ann, Zelda Marie & Link all stay home with Rosie while Momma and Daddy and I go to work, but they seem happy enough. Momma always gives them a cookie before we take off in the morning and she lays down on the living room floor for lovin's and kissies the second she comes in the door at the end of the day.
Lately even my furblings get people time during the day because Link's momma and daddy (my furless brother & his wife) are both laid off from work and living with us.
At night, Link sleeps with Travis and Kaiti and us three girls all pile in with Momma and Daddy. Good thing they have a King Size bed!
I guess we all get tons of time with our peeps. Lotsa lap time and lotsa walks, too!  | | | | |
