I have always tried to be,friendly,welcoming,open and helpful to everyone in the group.I know that I am one of very few if not the only member,who is a stay at home Mommy. I however am very saddened when p-mails,pup pal requests,Invitations to chat and even a post asking how everyone is doing goes unanswered,ignored,etc..
If I have unknowingly offended anyone or everyone here in some way I am truly sorry and
wish to apologize to everyone. I thoughtI had made alot of friends here and had hoped to form some long-lasting friendships. I hope that if I have hurt or offended you you will let me know via p-mail. Sorry this was so long and Thank-you

Thank-you for the response,and I want you to know that this was not aimed at you at all. I know that I am the biggest poster here probably,because I have the most time to spend on dogster.I have made multiple attempts to chat with other members of the group,have sent p-mails,and even posted questions of my own. If you look at the number of posts w/1 response posted by either Mika or Kai You'll understand what Imean. I've just gotten to feeling like I'm posting too much or pushing things a little,and the group is tired of hearing from me. I too,value our discussions and I hope that you have learned as much from them as

I've noticed that not a lot of people on Dogster really discuse things on this entire website (though I haven't looked at all of the groups). There are so many great things about Dogster that aren't being used to their advantage. For instance...I liven in Las Vegas...but when you try to find dog friendly cafes or restaurants the only thing listed is a high end restaurant in the Bellagio Resort and Casino. Um....yeah....
I think everyone in the group needs to pop in and say "hello" every so often (yes...I know there are lurkers out there....just reading and not giving any input...you guys count too). | | | | |

Like I said, I'm probably the only stay at home
Mommy,but if you look down the list of members,even just the
more recent ones, other than their introductory post there are none. I always take the time to welcome every new member from all of us and never even get an acknowledgement for any of us.
I have been concerned about you because of everything you have
taken on recently. Please try to keep me posted, I do understand you're busy.

| | Barked: Tue Oct 27, '09 9:05am PST | | | | | | Yes we are all good  and the dogs LOVE the house. There is so much more room for them (not only is it more than double the size of the townhouse we were renting but it has an open floor plan) and there is just tons of room for them to play.
Athena is also getting really good at bing my alarm clock. This morning I woke up to her in bed with me licking my face and pawing at my hands. She has become my little assistant all over the house. If i'm in the kitchen she lays down in the kitchen (she usually tries to lay inbetween my feet lol) but will stay in that spot until we've all sat down for dinner.
Spike, our foster, is having some serious issues. We had him house broken and got him to quite trying to mark things in the house. Well.....just this morning he hopped into our bed while I was brushing my teeth and lifted his leg on the comforter and sheets. 
Since he's been gone and has come back it's like starting from scratch with him. We made so many advances with him and now we're starting back up from the beginning. | | | | |

| | Barked: Wed Oct 28, '09 12:45pm PST | | | | | | Wow ,you guys have had an exciting week,Athena, I'm sorry to hear of the set backs with your foster. I hope with patience and time you can get him to the point where he is able to be re-homed again.
I don't really know how fostering works with the group you're in.
Our shelter used to foster but the board decided there were too many people taking advantage of the situation,like feeding their personal pets w/food donated to the shelter for the animals that were there and any fosters. One woman that fostered was feeding
six of her own dogs along with the foster on top of the line canned and dry food. Because of people like her the shelter board stopped
all fosters and all sick or pregnant animals are euthanized because the shelter runs strictly on local donations. It's terrible that that
had /has to be that way but that's the way it is. There is just not the money in this area really to support a good shelter program.
I hope ifyou're able to re-home your foster the new family will try
to work with you to keep up the progress you make with him.
What's worse is their adoptions people are really hard to work with.
They wouldn't let me adopt because I had an akita and an akita would kill another dog. So dealing with them was not easy which was why we looked for a breeder and just decided on another akita.
Good luck and I hope your little foster settles in and makes quick progress,at least as far as the spraying, I know that's a pain because
my sister had to wait until her puggle was 6mo. to get him nuetered
and he started spraying at 4m0. He's been neutered for about a month now and he hasn't stopped spraying yet. Take care and keep in touch. | | | | |
