ok so ive been doing endless looking on the internet about dog food for my lab............hes on science diet now, but after looking at the ingredients im seriously thinking about switching!!! any suggestions ??? hes only 3 months old and i really dont have time for the raw food diet!!! thanks for your help

Hi Marley!

I have a new sisfur. She is a Lab, too! We have not joined her up in all the groups. Casey is also your age! Mom did exhaustive research when I was a pup. It sounds like a raw diet interests you, so there is one food that comes as close as a kibble can come to raw, called EVO. (I also have allergies to all grains. This is a grain free food) A lot of Labs have allergies to one grain or another, some do not.

We are feeding Casey Orijen Large Breed Puppy. It is grain free, too. It has a great formula so seh does not get too much and grow to fast, but exactly what she needs. Too much of some things like calcium can cause us to grow bones too fast. Whatever you decide pick a food that has real meat as the first food listed on the bag, not a meat "meal".

PS. We are not Sceince Diet fans, although many eat this one.
