Hey all! My family will be moving to Georgia this December, and would like to find a female Husky puppy. Apollo could use a new buddy to pal around with when the rest of the family is busy.
Can anybody recommend some good, reputable breeders, or even husky rescues in the area?

Here are a couple websites for Husky rescues in the US. Looks like there are some in Georgia.

You could also check at the local shelters. There are a lot of great huskies that end up in shelters and the owners never come looking for them. I would definitely try that first. I am all for adopting a husky. I got Montana from a rescue and it is the best thing I have ever done.snoopy

Hi Apollo!
Where in GA are you moving to? We are just in Chattanooga, TN, which is very close to the GA border and just 2 hours from Atlanta. Plus Nadia Snow White and family live in GA too! For rescues & breeders, you may want to check out the Siberian Husky Club of America.

You will find dozens of healthy female Siberians in shelters here in Georgia. There are plenty of rescue organizations overflowing with female Siberians. Please get one from a rescue or shelter. The males are often adopted from shelters, but healthy females die for a lack of adopters and because the rescue groups are overcrowded. PLEASE CHECK PETFINDER.COM!
