 | |  | | Woof Woof! Hi everyone and looking forward to meeting/ hearing from you! - I am a min pin/daschund mix. My birthday is July 1, 2009 and am a rescue.
Here is my story!
My mommy's best friend Carrie and her mommy were driving along Highway 9 in Norman, OK and noticed me wandering off the side of the highway where it was very busy. They pulled over and noticed a few trucks pulled into the trees off the side of the highway. Carrie picked me up in her arms (it felt so good to be in her arms - it felt like she really cared about me!). Carrie, me, and Carrie's mommy went back into the wooded area to find a group of people gathered around drinking beer holding shotguns. Carrie asked if I was theirs and they told her yes and that they were needing me back so they could hunt coyotes with me. I don't know if my brothers or sisters or parents were out there, but Carrie and her mommy didn't want to tell me and it's better that I don't know. I don't have very long legs so I couldn't have run very far and the coyote could have caught me fast! You would think that those mean people could find a better side job than hunting coyotes and using their pelts to sell. So anyhow, Carrie asked those mean people to repeat what they said to see if they were serious, which they were, and within a second she turned around and walked back to the car real quick with me in her arms. Carrie's mommy took down the tag numbers of those mean people as they drove off and reported it to the police. When Carrie dropped her mommy off at her house, Carrie talked to me and kept letting me lay on her lap. When we got to her house, she called her best friend (which is my mommy now) and it didn't seem like it was too long before I got to meet my new mommy!!! It was within at least an hour!
Carrie and mommy were talking about me and they were saying that I must have been taken care of before this because I have soft, shiny fur, cold wet nose, friendly, healthy and bright eyes.
She talked to me, gave me water, food, love, toys, treats, a bath, took me to the vet for my first set of shots (second set is in 1 week - wish me luck!) and I love all the attention that I get! I even sleep with her under the blankets at night
In the mornings, I make sure that every mouth in the house gets at LEAST 20 go0d mornin' kisses xoxoxo
Anywhere she goes, I get to go and ride on her lap all curled up and people at the drive thru's give me treats! Everyone loves me but what's not to love?!
