Hi all.. How about getting a discussion going about our Giants?
Travis is wonderful, but he does have his moments of being a stinker. He will NOT come when called, and he still jumps up on people and is dangerous with those big feet when he hits with them. (Especially with men.. Trav always aims for the privates...)

Being a senior and having the thin skin, my arms are constantly maroon colored and bruised. This is not from his teeth, he's very good about "NO toofy!"
His problem is those big feet when he jumps up on me.

Any suggestions?

TEACH HIM THE "OFF" COMMAND.
NEITHER ME OR MY PAIN IN THE BUTT GUSSO EVER TAKE THE LIBERTY.

IN THE BEGINNING USE YOUR KNEE OR A WATER SQUIRT BOTTLE AS TO REMOVE HIM FROM YOU.
REMEMBER TO GIVE ALOT OF PRAISE & A TREAT WHEN HE OBEYS YOU.
WE AIM TO PLEASE, SO SHOW HIM HOW.

HAPPY FACE >>>CHLOE'

Thanks for the response, Chloe..
I've been using the "knee" and "OFF" for a long time.. it sort of works for me (I'm a woman), but I just can't get anyone else to use it.. We have lots of guys that come to visit in hubby's car shop, but I guess they are afraid that they'll hurt Trav, or they don't take me seriously when I tell them to use their knee and say NO, like they REALLY mean it.

The spray bottle works when I have it in my hand, but when I'm out in the field and Trav gets a bug up his butt to play, it's too late to run back to house and find that bottle.

Too bad there's just not a magic button I can push to make Trav (and my hubby) understand...*sigh
