Sorry for the cheesy pun. Bela is 9 months and is sweet and great with the kids. I have a 2.5 year old and a baby. Bela is still a puppy and has a lot of energy. When she gets excited she sometimes knocks my 2 year old over. How do I get her to watch out the little ones better?

Also, she steps on our feet a lit. Sometimes I think she does it on purpose. But, other times I think she is just not watching where she is stepping. Any advice?

Hank is almost a year old now and he will step on my feet too. His dog trainer says this is a "bossy" behavior. She told us to use a command such as "off" and get him off of our feet. Sometimes I feel bad because I think it is an accident, but I guess it is more important to be consistent! Your dog is entering doggie adolescence so expect her to act a little more stubborn and bossy.

Hank is always bumping into people...I'm hoping he will grow out of it. He usually bumps them with his bum if they behind or beside him. I make him sit before someone gives him attention...then I have to keep making him sit because he wants to get up to lick their faces!
