My new hoomans have 8 rats in the house. Every once in awhile, I help mommy clean the cages. That just means I sit either on mommy or right nearby, watch, and critique her cleaning job. The rats are in their playroom where I cannot get to them, so no one panic.
I snuck a piece of rat poo one day. Mommy caught me, and I haven't done it since. She just laughed at me and told me that I may turn into a rat if I do it again. I didn't like the sound of that. But, I will check around the cages each day, several times a day, to see if anyone kicked poo out of their litterbox. Mommy does a real good job about keeping everything clean.
