big grin oh, I am soooo happy it's that time again!

Well, I had never heard of this rescue group until this past Monday when I was sitting in my vet's office (yearly exam; everything is a-ok) and there was a notebook laying there with a whole bunch of pictures of doggies and kitties for adoption.

The name of the rescue is Poverty's Pets. They're Phoenix based.

Here's a little about what they say of themselves:

Poverty's Pets rescues abandoned, neglected, and abused companion animals in low-income and underserved communities. Through education and veterinary care (including spay and neuter services), it is our goal to end animal cruelty, suffering, overpopulation and homelessness.

Their web site:

If you scroll down on their home page to *tributes* and click there, well, there are some very sad stories to read. Have your hanky ready.

I hope you will consider voting for Poverty's Pets when that time rolls around. Thank you! blue dog

This is an online group that helps to support and educate people abbout IVDD and back disease and problems. They send out brochures to hand out at events and vet clinics.
It has been a wealth of help to my mommy during my back problem 7 years ago as well as Daisy Mae's back surgery.
Hugs and Happy Anniversary!!!
