The American Pit Bull Terrier is currently the #1 dog targeted by BSL, which is interesting because that’s exactly what turns these dogs into the crazed maniacs currently associated with the breed. BSL makes these banned breeds look vicious which is what draws them in as a status symbol for people wanting to be portrayed as tough. Now these "TOUGH" guys want to see which one of them is the most manly-the toughest-so they take their BSL Banned warriors to battle it out in a dog fighting ring. Wouldn’t it be better to change the laws that govern dogfighting than creating new ones to eliminate this breed?
Rehabilitation is always an option rather than exterminating them just because they are Pit Bulls. Out of the 53 dogs taken from Michael Vick 52 have now been adopted into loving homes. Doesn't that seem like a better solution.
One of these Pit Bulls is now working as a therapy dog providing comfort to people going with cancer.

That's just CRAZY if you ask me!!!!! It's the PEOPLE or PERSON that raise the Dog that should be PUNISHED!!! You can raise any dog to be MEAN, It does NOT MATTER THE BREED!!! what is wrong with PEOPLE???? AS LONG AS YOU SHOW ANY ANIMAL LOVE...ALOT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED. THIS IS CRAZY "BAN THE BREED"?? NO BAN STUPID PEOPLE. JUST BECAUSE A DOG LOOKS TOUGH, DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING. I HAVE RAISED PIT BULLS SINCE I CAN REMEMBER AND I AM 44. IT'S THE ONLY KINDA DOG I HAVE OWNED.. I RAISED 3 CHILDREN AROUND THEM ALL. MY CHILDREN COULD PLAY IN THEIR FOOD BOWL...."AS THEY ATE" LIKE I SAID..BAN DUMB PEOPLE THAT WANT TO SHOW OFF AND THINK THEY CAN HAVE A "BAD" DOG. "ANY" DOG CAN BE BAD, THE PITS GET A BAD NAME CAUSE YOU HAVE DUMB PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT WANT TO FIGHT THEM TO MAKE MONEY AND SHOW OFF...THINKING THAT IT IS COOL OR SOMETHING!!! THEY NEED TO MAKE HARSHER PENITYS FOR DUMB PEOPLE THAT ABUSE ANY ANIMAL TO MAKE THEM MEAN OR FIGHT THEM. THEY ARE SPAWNS FROM HELL. THIS CAN NEVER BE ALLOWED...WE HAVE OUR RIGHTS...THIS IS NOT WAY BACK IN RUSSIA DAYS?? ALSO IF THEY BAN ONE THEY HAVE TO BAN ALL...WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOTS..I LOVE MY DOGS...AND THAT IS THE ONLY BREED I HAVE EVER OWNED AND THE ONLY BREED I WILL OWN...THEY ARE THE MOST LOVING AND LOYAL DOGS THAT YOU CAN HAVE...AND THEY LOVE AND CHERISH THEIR FAMILIES {IF TREATED RIGHT} AS WITH ANY DOG!!! THEY WILL NEVER STOP ME FROM OWNING MY BABYS...NEVER!! FAITHFUL TILL THE END!!!!!
