Okay, today I started to get what I thought were girly "time of the month" crap (cramps), so I took some midol and relaxed on the couch (Although you can't really relax with two puppies wink) Well Barkley at this time is spazing out, he keeps crawling into my lap and was doing his alerts. But I was home and felt fine (besides the cramps) after a self check and thought he just wanted attention.

About ten minutes later it hits me, this agonizing pain that felt like someone stabbed me in the gut, twisted the knife, then pulled it out (called a shank). It was worse then when I broke my arm. I mean it hurt SO bad I was in tears just bawling. So I try to get to the phone for help (Barkley is worried about me and keeps alerting) but it is so bad I can't stand up, so I am crawling to the phone and call my perentals and tell them what is going on (though it was amazing that they could understand me shrug). They of course are two hours away, and since I don't have a fever mom tells me it is an ovarian cyst and that she is going to call my grama for her to come over.

But wait, I now have to barf! Oh crap, so I am slowly crawling once again and barley made it to the toilet before I puked my guts out (which by the way made that expensive pizza I had for lunch worthless).

Okay done puking now but the pain is worse then ever. I start to have a panic attack that it is my apendix and that I am gonig to have to go to the hospitle, so I crawl back upstairs and call mom again. She doesn't want me to go because if it isn't my apendix then they will make me have unessicary surgery anyway just to be sure. She says it isn't my apendix because it is where the girly cramps ussually are and that the appendix is up higher so go back to the couch and lie down.

What else could I do, so I gather the puppies (well I crawled to the crate and they followed me) and I put them in there crate.... but wait I feel I have to barf AGAIN.

Once again I crawl back to the bathroom and I sit there, and my grama comes in, and it is also at this point the puppies who are not yet crate trained are screaming as loud as they can! I felt so bad for them but I am doubled over on the bathroom floor.

I manage to keep it down and my grama helps me to the couch and I lie down. She gets me some water and the pups were quite for a few minutes so she let them out and holds them while I lie there.

Well about an hour and a half later it started to go away, and I feel much better (still no fever). And am able to get up to take the puppies outside to potty (I can't stand up straight it is sore so I set up a chair and just watch the pups.

The pain is almost gone by now, so grama leaves, cus I am I apparently fine (I felt TONS better, but it is still sore) and then mom and dad get home, and all is well.

I still at this point can't stand up straight without support, it feels like a giant bruise on my abdomen.

Anyway, HOW DID BARKLEY KNOW?!?!?!shrug I mean he doesn't care more of less with the girly crap I get, but this time he was so worried about me, and he is still right by my side. I am very lucky to have a boy like him.cloud 9

Yea Barkley! I don't know how they know. Harley alerts naturally and does all of his "Dr. Harley" stuff naturally. I have no idea how he knows. Sunday, I started Cymbalta on my Doctors request. Apparently, it is supposed to help with nerve conduction. Well, I ended up face down on the floor vomiting. Harley was able to get his head under mine, lift it, and keep me from choking. He may have very well saved my life. He is not trained to do that. I have no idea how he knew to do it. He just did. The same goes for his alerting. It took until Wednesday before I could even sit up on my own. Needless to say, I am not taking that any more.
