my family got me off of craigslist my other owner got a promotion and could no longer give me the care i needed. so now im in a new family with my nanna and her 2 kids the doughter is 16 the son is 20 the son is my new human daddy he got me also we have another dog in the family an australian shepherd named cody im so happy but my family needs tips on how to properly train a german shepherd me lol im their first german shepherd

HI Roxie Marie congrats on your new family! I was my parents first German shepard and have stolen there hearts. I saugeest puppy cleasses if they are available. try petco or petsmart. I am very food orientated I will do any thing for a treat. The best thing my mommy did for me was socialize and expose me to lots of things when I was young. Now i am not afraid of big men in hats or little kids. good luck on the training! i'll be rooting for you cheer

You are cute. I was also my families 1st gsd. Mom read that we are supposed to be well socialized by 14 weeks. I wasn't and ive been chicken all may life. Puppy class is great though but if your trainer doesn't seem to be just right for you. find a new one.
