Anyone ever come across other Bassadors?

I've had my Lucy now for almost two years. I love her to pieces. She LOVES other dogs and I have been wanting to get her a buddy. I would be thrilled if I could get another Bassador, but I see how "rare" in comparison the breed is. Does anyone else come across bassadors ever?

Have you checked out petfinder. There seem to be "bassadors" on there pretty frequently.

I person ally have only come across them on the internet... I had never even heard of them before I got Sammy.

We met a gentleman, this past summer at a local beach, who had a bassador. We even asked him to make sure since we thought we were the only ones who had one. His was yellow lab/basset hound. Ours is black lab/basset hound.We often get asked what breed Louann is. I find that most people ask if she is a wiener dog, which is quite a pain, since she is much larger than a daschund. So only one person so far in Southern Ontario.
