	I just saw a stray cat at a hotel!!! i say we do something about it!!!!!!

	Sophie, maybe you could ask the hotel people if they are feeding the stray. If not, maybe they would allow you to put water and food out until you would be able to catch the stray. During the time that you are gaining the stray's trust, you can decide if you can take care of the kitty or find someone who will. Do you have a humane society who would take the kitty for a well check with a vet? Look in you phone book for shelters. See if you have one that is no-kill and if they have a vet or work with a local vet.

	Zoey there are a few strays behind our building too. My mom feeds them and when she tries to get close to them they just run away. It is really hard to get a stray to trust humans. We have a few strays in our family but mom took them away from their mother when they were kittens so they would not become strays. One stray Oreo walked in our door. We try all the time but for some reason they just don't trust humans. If they would just give us a chance they would find they would be much happier but I guess they just don't know. So we continue to feed them and give them water and hope one day they will see we are not out to hurt them.
