My Momma works a couple jobs with animals.

Her main job is with a company called Wild Goose Chasers / Migrational Bird Management. Here she uses Border collies to herd avian pests off client’s properties. She works mostly with Canada Geese but occasionally Gulls and Pigeons.

She also works on a farm in Beecher, IL on the weekends. The farm is called Settler's Pond. They Rescue hoofed animals and exotics. The animals are able to retire there for the rest of their lives in peace. Domesticated animals are adopted out but exotics stay.

Momma Volunteers for an Exotics Rescue in Palos Park, IL as well. There she cleans cages, does enrichment projects, and does animal exhibits with animal ambassadors to get the word out about exotic pets. Most do not make good pets...the world needs to know.

We wish we could go with her to work!
