Hi there, Bruiser. You sure are a handsome guy! Tell your mom not to worry too much about the white boxer thing. I have two white boys - Pete (20 months) and Louie (8 months.) Pete is fine, but Louie is deaf. We brought Louie home at 9 weeks. He and Pete share the same dad, but different moms, and different breeders. After we had Louie home for about a week I noticed that he didn't seem to hear me. So we shook lots of bells and yelled a lot, then took him to the vet. Sure enough, he's deaf. (There is an actual test they can do, but who wants to pay for that? If you don't look at the jingle bell, you can't hear!) Pete has been enormously helpful in training Louie. Together we've taught him to ring a bell (the same one he can't hear) when he has to go potty. He knows sign language for sit, down, stay, wait. We bought a gentle leader to walk him cause he can't hear verbal commands. It's hard to get his attention sometimes, but he does feel vibrations, so I usually just stomp on the floor. All white boxers are prone to more health problems than other boxers, but they are beautiful and funny and smart (??) just like their colored friends. Good luck, and please post pict6ures!!
