We currently use spring valley and I am less than impressed so far. We would like to find a vet that is familiar with titer testing ect. We are looking for a vet who does there own research and doesn't believe everything the pet industry feeds them.

We take our dogs to Parkcrest and we LOVE it! We usually see Dr. Ziegler or Dr. Sherman and they are both WONDERFUL, but we have friends who see Dr. Garoutte and they really like him too. Parkcrest treats our animals like part of our family--not just dogs! We have nothing bad to say about them! It may be a little bit more than some offices, but you get what you pay for! The staff is all wonderful and it's never a scary experience when we take the dogs there. They always give out treats and our dogs love the staff & docs. I highly recommend them!

Sorry- I forgot to mention that Parkcrest (especially Dr. Ziegler) is very open to trying holistic things before traditional medicine. We have tried 2 or 3 more natural remedies on our dogs and once even kept our dog from having surgery. Our dog Rosie had a knee injury and we put her on Ligaplex instead of a pain medicine or having surgery--it worked great! She is now doing great! I have also talked to Dr. Ziegler about titers, which they do at parkcrest. They actually use a 3 year rabies and a 3 year Parvo/Distemper (instead of a 1 year) so the titers aren't really needed. They also don't think that animals need vacinations every year and are VERY careful about giving multiple vacinations at one time if the dog has ever had a reaction to something, or if they are very small. They also stagger the 3 year shots so they don't have to be given the shots the same day or year. We really love Dr. Ziegler and would recommend her to anyone. If you do try Parkcrest--tell them I sent you!
Thanks,
Sarah Gillespie
