Support this alternative to BSL and MSN, CA Responsible Breeder's Act

This bill doesn't require reputable breeders to buy licenses, require responsible working, show or other owners to alter pets, and it is specifically aimed at puppy mills or would-be puppy/kitten mill breeders. This is a step in the right direction for animal welfare and the rights of pet owners. Please read the bill, and write your support of it.

The only possible thing I personally think would make it better would be to change the statement "No individual or business that buys or sells dogs orcats to the public or at wholesale shall own, possess, control, orotherwise have charge or custody of more than a combined totalof 50 dogs and cats with intact sexual organs" to "...have charge or custody of more than a combined total of 50 unsterilized dogs or cats over the age of 6 months".
