Since we've rescue BillyJack Blue, we have learned alot in the past two weeks about his distinctive heritage! I am learning every day more and more about this breed as I want to know how to give BillyJack the best life I possibly can give him. However, since my husband only hunts deer in November, we have been thinking about joining a volunteer search and rescue team. Any thoughts if this type of training would fullfill the andimal instinct needs of this breed? thinking

I think that would be great! My Asuka loves to track down goodies I hide around the house for her. I have seen a few postings of Plotts as search and rescue dogs.
