A lady would never ask a question like this in order to be a voyeur with other people's weights and what not, but I really need to know!

I'm a little Alaskan Klee Kai, my mom thinks when I reach adult size I'll be around 13'-14''' at the shoulders and around 12-14 lbs. Is this too big to travel in-cabin? I know it differs from airline to airline, but generally speaking, the allowable carrier sizes are about the same..

I really don't want to think I've gotten the jabs, the titering, the 180 day wait period, just to be stuck in cargo for 14 hours to Japan..

So, what do you guys think?

I'm a dwarf Beagle at a hair less than 9" tall and weigh 13 pounds. I easily fit into a Sherpa bag, though I no longer have to travel in one since graduating to full service dog status.
