I'm at a loss, lol. I read up that with huskys being pack dogs, they were very thick-headed and HAD to be shown who is boss. We're doing pretty well on that part. Tucker is going to obedience class sometime in the beginning of May. The one issue we're having is housebreaking. Tuck refuses to go outside to relieve himself. He's somewhat trained on puppy pads, but would much rather just make on the floor somewhere. Help! What can I do to help him use the bathroom outside?

I feel your pain! Harlow was pretty resistent to housebreaking, and it took loads of patience and attention to get her to the point she is now. She did pretty well the first 2 weeks we had her but then regressed. I started taking her outside every 2-3 hours and giving her a treat and praising her like crazy immidiately after she pottied. She quickly learned that she didn't want to poop inside and would always bark at us to let us know she needed to go outside NOW, but we still had problems with her peeing in the house. I slowly increased the time between potty breaks and after about a month she started letting me know whenever she had to potty. She still pees in the house about 3 times a week (we've had her for just over 2 months), but that's usually when I'm in the shower or occupied. She's still learning to hold it obviously, but being consistent with the treats really seems to help right now. Good luck!
