Mum decided that Jazzy and I (Noah) should be involved with other Pyrs across the country so that we can expand our knowledge. So, we're new to your group and looking forward to lots of news, fun, and tips on how to be a "great Pyr"! We live in Toledo, OH. I (Noah) came from a breeder in northern Wisconsin, and Jazzy was adopted from IGPR (Indianapolis, IN) but she was really from Bowling Green, KY.

I was six months old and my Mum was my playmate (I treated her like my old littermates and was driving her up the wall 'cause she's small and I was getting bigger and stronger) and I was a little too rough on her so my Dad decided I needed a playmate and we adopted Jazzy. I had been to puppy school and passed that with flying colors, then I went to the next set of training classes, but my Mum had to have surgery and I didn't finish them and I pretty much decided I could do what I wanted (that's changed, big time now! because we went to a new trainer and boy that was a rude awakening - but I'll tell you about that later. Anyway, Mum and Dad took me with them when they went to IGPR to look for a female pal for me and I got to pick her out. She was very shy, very scared of everything 'cause she had been shot at chasing her old neighbor's cows. The old farmer was really mean to be shooting at her!!! But, when I saw Jazzy, I new she was the one! We really like one another - although she can be a bit testy with me at times when she's in a snit. Sometimes she wakes up that way! I just stay out of her way until her mood changes. Smart, eh? But we get along and play. We even have three other Pyrs that we play with, Gracie, Gabe and Bear. They belong to friends of my Mum and Dad and we have play-days together. It's fun. They were all adopted from IGPR too.

I've been doing all the talking because Jazzy's a bit shy yet with new places and people, but she warms up. Me? Well, I've always been "out there" and in your face for attention. You can ask my Mum about that.

So, Jazzy and I want to say a big 'HELLO' to all the Pyrs out there and hope we can be pals with all of you! We just turned two years old April 7th. Well, actually, I was born on Easter Sunday two years ago and my Mum called me the Ressurection Puppy! We didn't know the date Jazzy was born so we gave her my birthday so we can celebrate together. She's two years old as well.

I guess that's all I've got to say for now. Hope we get to talk with lots of you Pyrs out there. Jazzy and I send Pyr. Pecks to all of you!!!
