	Hi everyone! My poor little Doxie, Harley, has developed a nasty red rash all over his belly. My hubby is out of town and I can't get him to a vet until later in the week. He doesn't have fleas and I am not sure what he has gotten into. Can anyone recommend some topical soothing something or other to bring down the inflammation? Thanks! Jess and Harley

	maybe just a soothing cool bath would help. It will probably go away soon, because as you know doxies tend to rub their bellies and chest on the ground! But if it doesnt, I suggest going to your vet and asking what to do. Hope this helps!

	Hi there My Doxie Dax also gets rash on his belly as well which causes blisters and then goes dry, it's from lying in the sand, little spiders bite them. so try and avoid them from lying in the sand, Baby powder can help for the rash. Edited by author Thu Apr 11, '13 5:17am PST
