Alright, so we had a Siberian Husky lab mix (Nevada) for the past 6 weeks. She's a lab hid'n in a husky coat with floppy ears and blue eyes. Her demeaner is all lab. Laid back and easy going. Well a neighbor asked if we wanted her all white Pure Breed. He's only 14 weeks old, they paid ALOT of money for him, and they were just going to take him to the pound that night! Well I'm not a first time dog owner (obviously), but we have always had laid back dogs. Nanook is far from it! LOL We love him to death, but we don't call him Nuke for nothing. Nevada has had the same toys from the start, and she's so gentle with them, and Nuke is just destroying them. Also he's very demanding and verbal about things. I think I have fixed his problem with dominance over food, but treats are another story. I have 3 young girls (6, 2 1/2, 1 1/2), and I homeschool so we are home all day... He's doing wonderful.. I'm just looking for some pointers for this stronge-willed little man!
Thanks for any help I can get and sorry this is so long.

Oh.. and weekely we have playdates with a friend's family and thier two pups. Kiaya (One of their pups) has always been the pack leader, and Nuke thinks that is his new role.. any suggests to make things go smoother on our walks & playdates?
