Too Damn Cute to- Obey!

Ok, so my mom is trying to figure out what I might be... (she'd like to know because she can then know how best to approach my training and what characteristics might pop up as I get older). I am approximately 7 months old and was found as a stray running and hunting in some local wooded areas. I am about 25 inches tall and weigh 44 pounds (I am underweight). I howl, but don't really bark a lot.

Mom thinks I might be a brindle Black Mouth Cur. However, the shelter had me originally listed as a Boxer/Hound, then changed it to Greyhound/Lab. I think I look a lot like a brindle ridgeless Rhodesian Ridgeback (not really likely).

I was found in Southwest Virginia.

Well hi there! My cousin had a brindle BMC mix and you sure look a lot like ol Brindie did! She was one of the best dogs I'd ever been around. She was VERY intelligent, extremely good w/ people,especially kids. We have a black mouth cur pup, and I also had one years ago. Never had to raise my voice with them-just lots of patience(they can be stubborn!)and repitition. Good luck and enjoy!
