My Hannah was rescued ....

She is over 2 years old ...

Her start at life was living in a barn for about 1 year...

Then ended up with a family who couldn't take care of her anymore....

Now she's with us

But she doesn't seam to have been taught anything... at first she wouldn't even play with us. She is very nice. But just doesn't seam to know how to play.. Tryed ball, tug toys, chew toys..... She doesn't know simple camands either sit, stay, shake, she does know NO but gets scared. She is such a good dog and I don't find many times NO is needed.

I've tryed to teach her tricks, camands, and playing with dog treats but she won't eat the treats, Don't like them at all.

Can you still teach older dogs new things??

Hi Hannah!

Don't give up hope. All dogs can learn new tricks, it just takes time, especially when they weren't brought up to do so. My mom has taught me to sit and shake and to ring the bell to go potty, I'm a year plus some and I can still learn. She also taught my cousin lilly how to sit up and she was 3. It just takes a lot of repetativeness to get it through our heads. What kind of mix are you?
