This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "You have cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by supporting the American Cancer Society.

I walk not only to honor all the people I have lost in my life to cancer, including my dog Jixxer, whom fought his cancer for 18 days before he passed, but also for everyone who has survived and their families.

But I also do this event to help the animals. Do you know that 1 in 4 dogs will also be diagnosed with cancer this year? That, in my opinion, is way to many...so with your donation, you will not only be helping people, you will also be helping the animals !
