Yes, his legacy will live forever!! Have any of you ever read him? Mommy's favorite Disc World book is Going Postal her favorite standalone is Nation.

She found a new author at the Tucson book festival she is looking forward to trying. The first book in a new series is A Discover of Witches by Deborah Harkness. Anyone ever read her?

Mom has not read Patchett, but has a friend who says he is her favorite author ever, so he is on the list of later to read. The new one, we havent heard of.

Mom is still reading Haruki Murakami. She just finished 1Q84, and now has started Sputnik Sweetheart. Mommy is a binge-reader. Murakama has written quite a few novels, not so many as long as 1Q84 and Windup Bird, but all mind-bending.

Mom is reading Watership Down by Richard Adams. It's good, but sad too. She is reading it for her book discussion group.

She needs to try a Murakami.

She is addicted to audio books! She has to drive 30 minutes to work and 30 minutes back, so listening makes the drive so much more pleasant! She HIGHLY recommends the harry Potter books read by Jim Dale. He has won audie awards for his renditions!

Mommy read some of the Harry Potter books to us (and to Daddy). We really liked those!
In Cobblestone Square Chadwick had a bookstore and they had a reading group and story hour in there. The store is still there but nobody runs it now. It makes us miss Chad a lot if we go over there. We keep telling him he should come down from the bridge and run it again but he said he is way too busy up there to make such a big committment.

Cobblestone Square is a group on Catster. It used to be a hub of energy and fun, these days, like all catster groups, it is kind of dead and waiting for Catster to work better again.;;

That book sounds good.

Seems like all of our Catster and Dogster groups are not like they used to be! Our Precious Chihuahua group used to have tons of furs post every day. It makes us so sad that we are lucky if we get two!

Mommy is still reading Appetites of Girls. She is not a fast reader and is about a third of the way through it. Too many books, too little time will be put on her grave stone!
