Mommy is happy that there is a group for pet owners to get answers about pet food. Several years ago she did research on the computer to help me get better from the inside out I get urinary infections and she found Wellness food the rest is history. She now feeds us only food that has no by-products, makes our doggies their food in the crock pot, us cats are a little pickier about our food. She is into natural remedies, chinese herbs and acupuncture to help my sister Xena who has IB and brother Zeke who has breathing problems. Hope more people get in the group so we all can help others take better care of the pets with better food....kittykitty

I just joined because a friend's cat is sick and we are pretty sure it's the Nutro food. Hope to have it analyzed soon.

All pet owners need to really read what they are feeding their pets. A lot of food out there is garbage with by products what is by products-you don't want to know.

It is important to do your research and buy your pets better quality food, food that you could eat if you want. Also find a better pet store that specializes in holistic products they are very helpful

Also the food vets recommend isn't always the best food either. Like Meowmy says learn to do your own research because knowledge is power. Meowmy tried to get us to eat raw food and then homemade food, but we are too picky, our doggies eat homemake food all the time, Meowmy cooks it in the crockpot.kitty
