Refusing to Eat??

Bella just went thru her 1st heat cycle. During heat, she did not eat well at all. Sometimes going 2 days w/ only eating once. She was alway alittle under weight, but the vet said not to worry. Once she finished going thru heat, she has lost a signficant amount of weight. She does not want to eat anything. We have tried different dog food, home made dog food, chicken only - she will eat it once then will not want to eat it at the next feeding. I took her back to the vet and he put her on an antibiotic for a possible blatter infection. I asked him about special dog food to put weight back on her, but he suggested trying baby cereal instead. Again, the baby food mixed w/ dog food worked for 1 feeding, then she had no interest in it. I have searched the internet to try to find suggestions: garlic - did not work, home made dog food - worked once.

Has anyone else gone thru this w/ their Cav and what was your experience. Any advice / insite would be GREATLY appreciated.
