Hi everyone. I just got my first ACD last saturday. A friend of mine who breeds Akita's and is an Akita handler put me in touch with a breeder in so cal who was trying to rehome a really sweet mellow 3 year old ACD. So I drove from northern CA the bay area down to So Cal the LA area to pick her up. Her name is Shiner she is a sweetie. She seems to be adjusting pretty well. shes like my own personal shadow lol. Its great to have a new jogging partner now. Shes loving the long morning jogs. Any sugestions to help me help her adjust to her new place are more then welcome. Her frist day or two she seemed pretty shy and always had her tail between her legs. I'm glad she is now wagging it a lot more now.
