Hey there!

I am looking for some info on the smooth collie, i'd like to know pros, cons, everything. with all my years of showing/training dogs the collie isn't a breed that i have spent anytime with. I need to retire my chi and get a balance dog, and i am tall 5'8" and a collie height wise would be perfect.

having a chi and a cat and a pom-a-poo my first choice for a dog is going to have to wait. Pharoah hound.

do collies have prey drive?
would this breed be good at being an SD?

any info would really be helpful

I don't know anything about smooth collies(mine are both rough coated) but the temperment is great. One of my own collies is about to be certified as a service dog.
