Sorry that my first post is a solicitation for help but as a member of the Dog Legislation Council of Canada and a huge supporter of groups in the USA like Bad Rap - I am appealing to you all to help us fight BSL! Bill 132 banned APBT, ASBT,SBT, pitbulls or any dog that has similar characteristics ....

THIS ISN’T JUST ABOUT ONTARIO – THIS LEGISLATION CAN AFFECT ALL OF CANADA AND ALL DOG OWNER’S RIGHTS!

Please CROSSPOST widely – for the love of dogs – PLEASE HELP! Janet and the Canine Casbah Crew…

Clayton Ruby and Banned Aid Coalition are appealing the latest ruling on the Pit Bull ban to the Supreme Court of Canada.

But they need your help.

The constitutional challenge to represent the collective, national interest of responsible dog owners is in dire straits.

We are $67,000 short of being able to get our voices heard in Canada's highest court, the Supreme Court. We have been granted an extension to come up with this amount, but just till the end of January 2009.

ONE DOLLAR, A LOONY (what we call our dollar coin)TO FIGHT THE LOONS IN GOVERNMENT !

The Banned Aid Coalition, including the SBTCC and the DLCC, is begging everyone to meet the $1/dog challenge.

We only asked for $1 for each dog you can reach over and pet right now. Some people have gone above and beyond our wildest dreams and we thank them so much!

Please, if you can, just one loony for every dog in your house right now. There are thousands of them out there.

Please forward to anyone who owns a dog. Just one dollar - that's all...
